We are facing complex transitions and developments in our societies and communities that, unfortunately, often end up in polarised conversations, NIMBY movements and political paralysis that drive a wedge between established systems and citizens. This presents an ever-increasing challenge when it comes to developing our society, when we need to develop cities, create new mobility solutions, locate renewable energy, adapt to climate change, reorganise our energy supply or build coastal protection.
