Growing Activists: Building volunteering that lasts

Do you work – professionally or in your spare time – with activating and organising volunteers? Are you interested in diving deep into how organising can be made better? Then this webinar is for you!

For almost a year we have been diving deep into the organisational work of volunteering. With interviews, workshops and support work, we have been able to take a look into theengine rooms of five Nordic climate activist groups.

At this webinar, we will share some of the learnings from our project Growing Activists.

• You will learn about:
• – Key ways to think about recruiting and integrating new volunteers and activists
• – The tools and actions that activist groups are using today
• – The “streamline”for a new volunteer joining an organisation

Afterwards, there will be a talk exploring what we can use these findings for – not just in climate youth organisations, but in the broader field of voluntary organisations working to push for change.

The webinar is arranged by We Do Democracy and The Nordic Climate Justice Coalition, as well as Nordic Culture Point.
