Ziga is Managing Director at We Do Democracy, and is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of our many projects and partnerships. Ziga has solid experience in complex governance, most recently as Head of Red Cross Strategic Civil Society Initiatives, with 12 years of experience in strategic development and implementation in a politically driven civil society organisation.

Ziga drives complex change projects at the societal level, has a strong organisational understanding and works both strategically and operationally with political and societal agendas.

Ziga is responsible for developing and managing programmes and projects and works in a participatory way with a specific focus on inclusive processes.

Ziga is driven by creating societal change, leading people and processes and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Aarhus University. Ziga is particularly interested in development and learning processes between people in different socio-cultural contexts. Through her many years in the social field, she has gained extensive knowledge of inclusion and exclusion processes in social communities.

At We Do Democracy, Ziga has a special focus on organisation, strategies and partnerships, and contributes to the facilitation of We Do Democracy’s workshops, Citizens’ Assemblies and conferences.
